Community Garden 2011

This year we are participating in our town's community garden. We have a pretty large plot and we are growing 13 things this year (green onions, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, green peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, cantaloupe, beans, snap peas and broccoli). There were sunflowers planted there previously that I hope will come back up and I am also planting four different kinds of flowers that I can cut and enjoy at home. We have had smaller gardens in the past...but nothing like this. I am hoping that it goes really well and we have enough fresh veggies to pass onto our friends and family.
