Round One: Levi 1, Sam 0

So the brotherly fighting has begun! Levi is semi-mobile at this point...he can't crawl yet but he can roll and scoot on his bum. This means he is able to get whatever toy he wants and that toy is usually something Sam is playing with. Today it was the trains and the train track. From the other room I can hear Sam yelling at Levi. It usually starts with a polite "no, no Levi" and then finally progresses to "NO LEVI!" We have now nicknamed Levi the "track monster". My days of being the referee have begun!

Deep Creek 2011

This was our 5th year going to Deep Creek for a family ski vacation. Unlike all of the previous years, this year was pretty warm and made the outdoor activities much more enjoyable. We ate lost of good food, celebrated mom's valentine birthday, had our annual pool tournament, hiked out to the falls (with Sam walking the whole trail) and went skiing. I love these annual trips and can't wait until next year when Sam can try out skiing for the first time!

Sam is 3!

In honor of my first-born boy's third birthday we had a Bob the Builder themed party! Note to self: before you commit to a themed party...make sure they actually sell those party items (or toys) in the stores! I did my best to decorate with the Bob characters and to make a cake that Sam would love. He really liked all of the decorations and was especially excited that there were m&m's on his cake!

We are so blessed to be Sam's parents. He is such a loving, bright and funny boy. He is old beyond his years and is always surprising us with things he learns (and says) everyday. We love our little man to pieces and look forward to another year of loving and caring for Sam!
