On a Break
Things are pretty crazy, but exciting in our house right now. We leave for Hilton Head, SC this Friday for our first family vacation with the Good family. We are looking forward to a relaxing week because when we get back we will be moving into our new house in Beaver, PA! So we have been packing and packing and packing. I can't even begin to describe how much stuff we have accumulated since moving into this house almost three years ago. We are hoping for good moving weather and kind friends to help us out. I will be back with a new post after the move to catch you up on our vacation and our adventures on moving into the new house. Until then, enjoy the start of your summer.

15 Months
Sam is 15 months old today and he got a good report at his doctor's appointment. He is still a little peanut though weighing 21 pounds and measuring 29 inches long! We just love this little boy so much, I can't even begin to put into words how much joy he brings to our life. Here is one of my favorite videos of him saying his animal sounds.

Spring is Here
It has been a busy few weeks for us and I just realized that I have not taken any new pictures recently. Spring is here though and we are looking forward to our First Annual Good Family camping trip in a few weeks. Luke and I decided to take Sam camping for the first time. I do not love to camp, but Luke does so I am giving it another chance. I have no idea what it will be like to camp with a 15 month old, but I can do anything for one night, right?! At the end of the month we head to Hilton Head for a vacation with the Good family...all of Luke's siblings and our niece and nephew!
Sam is continuing to grow into such a happy toddler. He is still not interested in walking but can crawl super fast. His favorite thing to do during the day is to read books, stack cups or throw and chase balls around the house. I am positive that he will play at least one sport with balls because of how much he loves them. His vocabulary is expanding every day. He says the words: ball, bird and light a thousand times a day. When you ask him what color something is, he always says blue, but he can say yellow too if you prompt him :) Also, everything round that he sees is a "ball" so we are trying to teach him the word circle or dot. We are experiencing some tough separation anxiety on Sunday mornings. He screams and cries when I drop him off at nursery, cries most of the time he is in there and then cries again when I pick him up. It has not been an easy time but I know this stage will pass eventually, right?!
