Happy 2nd Birthday Samuel James

So we didn't let the big blizzard ruin our party plans and celebrated Sam's 2nd birthday as planned on Saturday. My parents and Luke's family were still able to make it so that was enough of an excuse to have a yummy pasta dinner, cake and ice cream. We went with a Thomas the train theme and Sam was thrilled. The funniest part of the night was either when Sam thought the train toy on the cake was made of cake and tried to eat it OR when Sam went all Cookie Monster with the blue icing from his cake. That boy knows how to make us laugh. We are SO blessed to have Samuel in our family...he is a beautiful boy inside and out and we are grateful to God for another year of being his parents.
