Announcement

Here is the birth announcement we sent out for Levi. We weren't able to send them out to everyone that we wanted to so I thought I would post it here for everyone to see!

Levi - 3 Months

Levi is three months old today! Our little man is such a big boy. He is wearing 3-6 month clothes and some 6 month outfits. He loves to smile and "talk", especially for his mama. Levi is getting really good at holding his head up and is starting to like tummy time. He is starting to sleep through the night and is also starting to get into a nap routine during the day. We love our little "Leev-ster" (as Sam likes to call him)!

Babywearing

I have always wanted a Moby wrap but when I tried one out with Sam...it was just too hot for me and it didn't seem practical. These days, with two kids, I need both of my hands free and a way to carry Levi around in something other than his car seat. I have a Bjorn that I love but I wanted something that held him a bit closer to me and was easier on my back. I found a Moby for $20 on Craig's list and sent Luke to Cranberry today to pick it up. We gave it a try this afternoon and loved it. It was wonderful on my back and Levi slept soundly the whole time. It still is a bit warm but with fall and winter coming I am not too worried about that. Can't wait to get more use out of it!

Rollercoaster

My parents tend to find the coolest things for Sam at yard sales...and today was no exception. They paid $3 for this fun toy...what a steal!

Brothers

Aren't my boys handsome?! I think they look a bit alike in these pictures except, of course, for their eye color. Sam has these beautiful amber eyes and Levi looks like he is going to have blue eyes like his mama.

Tummy Time

Well we found a way to get Levi to enjoy tummy time...by propping him up on the Boppy. He is getting really good at lifting his head up the past couple of days. We are trying to round out that flat head of his :)

Thumb Sucker & Big Talker

Here is Levi sucking his thumb at 10 weeks. I hope he continues this habit...not only is it adorable...he can use it to soothe himself. I already tell that he is sleeping longer stretches at night because of it. So cute!
Sam is a big talker as I am sure you know by now. A couple of months ago, Sam learned about stop lights from driving in the car with us. He knows the red means stop, etc. Well he is a bright boy and realized that he can use those stoplights in everyday conversations. Now when I am singing a song he doesn't want me to sing or telling him to do something he doesn't want to do, he holds up his hand and says "it's red", meaning stop singing/talking Mom. Smart, but not a nice way to talk to mom. We are working on it...
